It seems that there’s always a new tool, trick, or tip to help grow your business. Rather than bog you down with 20 new ideas, I decided to pick 3 topics that I truly believe will help you to grow your business in 2016. Read on to learn more.
Social Media Advertising
If you haven’t tried posting a paid advertisement on social media yet, you should consider trying it out. Log into your Facebook business page and then try doing a “Boost” of a post that you would like to get in front of your audience. Boosting will allow you to target people based on their ages, sex, interests, and location.
If you want to be even more highly targeted, you can run an ad campaign through the Facebook Ads Manager function where you can put out ads that can narrow down your audience by income, occupation, and more.
Market With Email
Love it or hate it, email campaigns can be very successful when done right and in a direct manner. By this, I mean that you should create content to share that is personalized to a particular group. For example, if you write a blog that gives tips for people who are thinking about selling their house, don’t email it to your entire database.
When you get client leads, you should put them in the appropriate category of your email database. This way, when you put out an email campaign, you will give the right information to buyers and the right information to sellers. By doing this, you are much less likely for people to click that unsubscribe button because your content is relevant to them.
Creepy Cookies
Alright, I like to call this one “Creepy Cookies,” but it’s popularly referred to as “retargeting” in the marketing industry. Retargeting is a cookies-based marketing method that follows your website visitors once they’ve been on your site. Once they leave your site your advertisements will be able to later show up on other pages that they go to on their computer or mobile device.
Overall, it’s a great way to remind people about you and your services when they were already showing interest in. Some options that you can use for this include: ReTargeter, AdRoll, and Perfect Audience. Watch for similar features to pop up on Facebook shortly as this is something they have in the works.
