Content Strategy Matters
As I travel the country preaching the importance of online positioning through the various social platforms available, I continue to witness the frustration of those who create accounts but fail to move forward with posting. The classic comment I hear tends to be, “l don’t know what to post.” Believe me, I get it…there are so many things to consider when strategically coming up with a game plan for posting, such as:
“How will I be perceived?”
“Will this get responses?”
“How does my hair look?”
Ok, ok, I was kidding about the last question, but in reality, before tackling such a massive commitment of consistency in your posts, you must create a solid CONTENT STRATEGY in order to be successful. As you identify your target market, creating your content strategy should become much easier to accomplish, and just to make sure you have a great example to follow for topics, check out Jessica Riffle Edwards’ YouTube channel below:

I have been tracking Jessica’s online growth for some time now and I can tell you this…she knocks it out of the park – EVERY TIME. Now you might be thinking…wow, she has hundreds of videos…how could I possibly achieve something like that? Well, she had to start somewhere, and I know that if you make the commitment to being consistent as well, then you can get similar results. Creating valuable content that engages your audience enough to make them want to come back is key, so always strive to entertain, educate and empower in all that you do. Here are a couple of topics for you to get started with creating video content –

Be sure to set dates on your calendar to create these videos or blogs and share your knowledge with masses…remember, the last thing you want to be is a “Secret” agent.
